I removed the LastFM player from my sidebar today. I really have no idea if anyone was ever using it, but thought it was a neat idea that the guy who created ziphone was using it. He originally had it set on autoplay which was very annoying(Almost like MySpace). I’ve always had it set to manual control so that anyone visiting this site won’t be annoyed to death with a mix of Classical, House and Lounge tracks.
I recently noticed a podcast called, “popSirens” from Revision3 networks. What’s really cool is Sarah Lane is co-hosting with some other (not quite important)person. I was a big big big fan of (huge nerd-crush on)Sarah Lane back in the TechTv days. When I found out she later got married it was a sad sad day. Anyway there was an episode about electronic mix tapes and Sarah discussed two options, Muxtape and Mixwit.
