A few years back, a friend of mine from college contacted me mysteriously via AIM(AOL’s Instant Messenger). He asked what I was up to and strangely enough mentioned photography to me. I didn’t quite understand why. At the time I had not taken up an interest in photography and had no idea why he was discussing SLR camera recommendations with me. After about half an hour into the conversation, I asked him what’s the deal with all these questions about cameras? Well, Apparently he had gone to howardchang.com not remembering what my phone number was and thought it might be posted there. It was actually quite resourceful of him, to think that I owned that site, since I did own a number of other web domains(including the now defunct howardchang.net) at the time.

Update - April 08, 2008: I came across a funny blog entry from Violent Acres blog about “A Bathtub Full of Urine“. It’s quite a good read. Check it out if you haven’t had enough stories about urine on this entry.
So I mentioned that one of the things I intend to accomplish is fitness, most importantly to me a six pack. I don’t think its to really impress anyone(although it would be neat), but rather a goal for myself to achieve. Since I was about 22, I knew that I couldn’t possibly eat all the needed vitamins in my body so I turned to multivitamins. It was a habit I started as a child, when I had Flintstones chewable vitamins, somehow throughout my adolescents this habit was interrupted. So when I started working, I decided one a lunch break to buy a bottle of Centrum which according to the bottle, provides me with all the necessary vitamins from “A to Zinc”. I didn’t notice much of a change but then again, I wasn’t sure if I was suppose to feel anything. What does this after to do with bright yellow urine?

Several years back before the hey days of AOL, Compuserve & Prodigy. I was an Elementary School student who was fortunate enough to have a computer in our classroom. The first computer I ever came in contact with was a Commodore 64. The teacher at the time used it as a motivational tool, allowing students whom finished their assignments fastest to spend a few minutes tinkering around with this device. Needless to say, I did my best to excel in this class and made several rounds to the computer. My interest only grew exponentially as I began Junior High School and finally convinced my parents that I did not want a Super Nintendo but would rather have a Pentium 486 computer. Back then 9600 baud modems were the newest thing on the market. It was the successor of the 2600 baud modems which were significantly slower in connection speed. The internet at that time consisted of a few electronic bulletin board systems. Often too complicated for my youth to realize its full potential. It was the breeding grounds for trading information via text files/documents and some devastatingly large applications(8mb literally took hours to load).
